Thank you for using ourHelo SmartApp (hereinafter referred to as "App"). In order to provide a better user experience and functionality, we may need to access certain permissions on your device.

Please read the Privacy Policy to understand what data we collect when you use our products and services. This Privacy Policy notice will also shed light on how we use and handle your data. We will also let you know what rights you have with respect to this information.

 

Types of Information Collected

 

When you use our App, we may request access to the following device permissions:

1.When you create an account, you will be asked for personal information, such as your email, age, gender, height, and weight. Our aim is to offer you a personalized experience that comes in the form of accurate and reliable results. For example, it is important to include your age and weight as factors in the calculation of burnt calories. Algorithms need precise statistical input to deliver accurate output.

2.When users need to use message push and call push provided by smart wearable devices, we need users to provide SMS permissions (mainly READ_SMS and RECEIVE_SMS), as well as read the contacts and get the phone call. When users need to add other application software push notifications, we need users to upload installed application information (application icon, application name, etc.),We promise never to collect personal data or sensitive data without explicit permission from the user. We get user permissions only for message reminder and call reminder function on smart wear, and never leaks and shares the user's private information to third parties.

3.When the user application crashes and no responses during, we need to upload the crash information to bugly (https://android.bugly.qq.com). which facilitates timely discovery of control abnormalities and a more comprehensive understanding of positioning abnormalities.  Solve user problems more efficiently.  Only program exception data is obtained, and user-related personal information and data are not involved.We are committed to never collecting personal or sensitive data without the explicit permission of our users. The user's private information will never be leaked and shared with third parties.

4.We may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals, which is being gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services to you related to the Software. We may use this information for as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve its products and services as well as to provide services and technologies to you.

5.Provide location-based services:The location data will be used to search and connect Bluetooth devices, including when the APP is in the background, location data will be used to record moving locations during the use of the APP.

For example, when you record running tracking information through the running function of the APP, or when the Bluetooth device you are connected to initiates SOS, your location information may be sent back to the APP so that the APP can provide you and your family with accurate content.

6.Our goal is to provide the best user experience that does not come at the cost of your personal privacy. Algorithms are not only created but also maintained and periodically improved. This includes the necessity to collect the following information: steps, distance, calories burnt, heart rate, sleep quality, energy index, blood pressure, location, and possible new measure types. This information will be analyzed in order to improve the algorithms and provide more accurate health advice.

7.When the user needs to use the QR code image settings provided by the smart wear device, we need the user to provide the permission of the mobile phone album and read the QR code image in the mobile phone album. We promise never to collect personal or sensitive data without the express permission of the user. We only obtain user album permissions for the QR code function on smart wear, and never disclose and share user privacy information with third parties.

 

Purposes of Information Usage

 

We collect the above permissions for the following purposes:

1.Providing Basic Functionality: Storage permission is used to save your settings and app data. album permission allows you to upload photos. Location permission is used to provide location-related features.

2.Enhancing User Experience: We may use stored data to improve app performance and user interface.

3.Personalized Customization: We may use collected information to provide personalized content and suggestions.

4.Analysis and Statistics: We may anonymize collected information for analysis of user behavior and trends to improve app functionality and performance.

 

Storage and protection

 

1.No system or technology has yet to be proved to be completely impenetrable. We take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data. We use encryption technology when collecting personal data.

2.We use email address identifiers and keep data anonymous to protect the privacy of the user. Unless requested otherwise, we are currently retaining data for the foreseeable future as it is crucial for the maintenance and improvement of the services.

 

Your rights

 

1.You have the right to access your personal information. This means that you can contact our customer service and we can assist you and deliver a copy of all the personal information we have on you. You have the right to know what personal information has been collected about you, what this information is being used for and if it has been disclosed to any other parties. To verify your information, we may have to ask for additional information.

2.You have the right to have any of your information corrected or deleted either by doing it directly by yourself or through customer service. If you want to have your information deleted, we will delete all information pertaining to you. You can create a new user account after having all your previous data deleted.

3.You have the right to withdraw your consent. As we have requested for your consent to process your information, this can be reversed by contacting customer service. This also means that withdrawal of consent prevents us from offering the service to you.

4.You can change app permission settings or revoke authorization at any time. Please note that certain features may require specific permissions to function properly.

 

Third parties

 

1.We are collaborating with Apple Health, Google Fit, and Strava. Hence, these corporations have access to our database under strict rules and regulations. We never provide, sell, rent out or share users personal information to any other non-related third party without users consent.

2.Your information may be processed outside the country that the services you are using are based in, including countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) where the standard of protection of privacy does not meet the requirements set by the European Commission. When transferring information, we comply with all applicable laws to guarantee sufficient protection of your privacy.

3.We never disclose any of your personal information without a separate permission from you, unless it is necessary for handling your order, carrying out your request, or managing our interactive customer programs. Information may, however, be disclosed if necessary because of law, a court order, or a regulation or request issued by authorities.

 

Policy towards children

 

1. Persons under the age of 13 are not permitted to create user accounts without their parentsconsent in accordance with applicable law. Personal information collected from a child under the relevant minimum age without parental consent will be subject to deletion as soon as possible.
